Let the debate begin

Dear Fellow Supporter

Following the first Football Fans' Parliament held at Birmingham in October 2002 the national council of the Football Supporters' Federation has drawn up a Fans' Blueprint for Football.

This is now being circulated to all FSF members and affiliates and throughout the wider football fans' movement for discussion and debate. The enclosed Word document is a summary of the Blueprint. A longer document expanding on the points within it is available on request from sl.powell@virgin.net.

We hope you'll take this opportunity to participate in this debate. We welcome any suggestions for changes and/or amendments to the Blueprint. Any suggestions we do receive will be reported to the Football Fans' Parliament (which will be the first annual decision-making conference of the FSF) which will convene on Saturday 21 June 2003 at Arsenal Stadium.

It would be helpful if (a) any proposed changes could be in the form of a formal amendment to the current wording and (b) any amendments you have ready could be submitted by Friday 9 May 2003.

Amendments which are received after this date will be valid and we'll report any informal proposals we receive for changes/additions/deletions to the Fans' Parliament.

We want to promote the widest possible discussion prior to the Fans' Parliament.

Best wishes

Steven Powell
