Why this site exists
What we offer...
This site is intended to promote, and provide information about, the Burnley FC London Supporters' Club (commonly known as 'The London Clarets').
There's information about lots of things, including upcoming travel and match ticket arrangements, social activities, and places to drink.
We also try to provide match reports for all competitive first team games - and for Saturday games, don't miss our famous vox pops! Links to these are available from the fixtures page.
It's also our aim to make available to a wider audience a range of articles that have appeared in our members-only magazine 'Something to Write Home About'. We believe this is an excellent source of original and good-quality writing about Burnley FC, mostly from the supporter's perspective.
Some of our services, such as being able to book travel and match tickets, are only available to paid-up London Clarets. So, naturally, we also provide details of how to join us, including a downloadable membership form.
...and what we don't
It's important to stress that this isn't a news site. So, don't expect to find a daily news service, audio bulletins, or anything similar! We don't have the time, and good sites exist which already perform those functions. We don't believe in duplicating what is available elsewhere. If you're interested in current Burnley FC-related news, please see our links page for a list of recommended sites. We do, however, maintain a monthly news round-up - and if anything significant happens, you may find a comment piece on it. Check out our site map to see what's available.
We don't provide a forum for the exchange of views. There are many messageboards around these days, and the best of them all (in our opinion) is the Clarets MAD one, the 'Throw One Inn'. As we've already said, there's no point in us duplicating what's already being done well elsewhere.
If there seems to be a gap, we'll attempt to fill it. Having said that, there are a lot of good sites out there (again, see our links page for details). So, between us, we should have it covered.
