In support of Graham Branch

Di Branchio

Of Graham Branch in his defence,
the criticism has been intense.
Jigsaw Puzzle and Coco the Clown
are insults that have been hurled around.
Since stepping up to Division One,
a transformation has begun.
His pace and ball skills have been amazing,
whilst the goals he’s scored have sent eyebrows raising.
He crosses the ball with accurate east,
as opposition defences he tries to tease.
He’s also been known to lose his cool
and throw a punch - - - against the rules!
At Birmingham City he wasn’t best pleased
when part of his body, he said, had been squeezed.
But the ref decided to opt for a truce
and only a yellow card was produced.
With confidence high and talent revealing,
his football prowess is much more appealing.
So Joanne, show compassion I know you possess,
and congratulate Graham on his new found success!
