I know what you did last summer!
London Clarets social calendar

Well, the new season's almost upon us. We got through the football-free summer by enjoying a variety of social events. Below are brief details. If you're interested in participating in future events, please contact any member of the London Clarets Committee.

Thursday 25 April
A night out at Walthamstow dogs
A fine time was had by all!

Saturday 4 May
London Clarets annual summer day out in Farnham
If you missed it, you have to wait until we do it all again next year!

Saturday 25 May
London Clarets annual summer day out in Lewes
What a jolly day out this was!

Sunday 23 June
London Clarets FC v London Blackpool 5-a-side
Inaugural match of our re-launched football team.
Our match report.

Friday 12 July
Protest against Carlton and Granada

A select bunch of London Clarets joined the Football League protest against the ITV Digital defaulters.

Saturday 13 July
London Clarets AGM

Our AGM was well-attended as usual, and our special guests were Burnley FC Chairman Barry Kilby and Burnley MP Peter Pike. Barry and Peter each addressed the meeting, and kindly took (some quite searching!) questions. We were also pleased to welcome representatives of the Wimbledon Independent Supporters Association (WISA), who spoke about the issues surrounding football franchising. We are grateful to all our speakers for giving up their time to join us.

Saturday 20 July
London Clarets summer darts tournament
Beer and darts - a potentially lethal combination! Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Congratulations to Ian "The Vice" (Chairman, since you ask) Wood, who beat Dave Parker 4-0 in the final.

Saturday 10 August
Thank god, it's the start of the football season.
