This is possibly the funniest photograph ever taken. The thing to bear in mind is that camera operator Firmo was so drunk that he couldn't get the camera to work. Patrick obligingly held this pose for five minutes as Firmo fiddled with the buttons. Just enough time to perfect that deranged expression.
