Graham Branch level with
Cornish Pasty shocker!
Player of the year 1999-2000
As at October 5th 1999
There were more than a few gasps of amazement
when Stan signed Mitchell Thomas from Luton in the close season, but nobody will now doubt
the wisdom of this signing as the former England International has stormed into an early
lead in this season's Player of the Year award.
Andy Payton's hat trick is mainly responsible
for his second place position, whilst notable is the low number of 'joke' votes. I wonder
why.
