Mitchell Thomas continues to hold an impressive
lead, currently over the three figures mark. He looks set to pick up the award in his
first season at the club. Glen Little has moved into a comfortable second place after his
good form of the last couple of months, whereas Steve Davis has slipped back following his
disappointing performances over the same period. Indeed, it seems likely that when all the
Stoke votes are included, Andy Payton will leapfrog above him into third spot.
At the bottom, Ronnie Jepson and Gordon
Armstrong have both stormed into double figures, leaving the 'non-playing' votes trailing
in their wake.

Just to recap on the voting system - members get
two votes for their first and second choice man of the match for every Burnley game they
see. The first choice is allocated two points, the second choice one point. At the end of
the season, the player with the most points is the London Clarets Man of the Match. You
can give your votes to Woody in person, or post them to the address at the back of the
magazine.
