David:
Absolutely marvellous! I'll hand you over to my daughter - today was her first away game!
Sammy (David's daughter, aged 12):
It was wicked! My favourite player today was Beresford.
Wayne:
Absolutely superb - a good set of people; friendly, explained everything. Editor's note: Wayne is talking about the London Clarets - today was his first trip with us!
As far as the match was concerned: a very good performance. The players were 100% behind each other. They played as a team, and won as a team. Beresford was superb. Leicester are a very good team, but slow at the back. They couldn't handle Ian Moore’s pace!
Razor:
A tremendous display by all concerned. Arthur and Coxy were magnificent at the back; Robbie Blake and Blakey were tremendous going forward. The result never looked in doubt - the defence was supreme and Beresford magnificent. The three points were well deserved. Oo-om pah pah, oo-om pah pah, oo-om pah pah, oo-om pah pah!
John S:
In the first half, nothing really happened, but the second half was worthy of being shown on Match Of The Day.
Paddy:
In the first half, we were superb in defence. In the second half we pushed forward, scored a very good goal, and then defended very well. 11 games unbeaten is not a fluke. We are a good side.
Firmo:
Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Until today, only one team had a one hundred percent record at the Walkers Bowl. Tonight, one team has a one hundred percent record at the Walkers Bowl - but it's not the same one. Until today, only one team had won at the Walkers Bowl - now it’s two. And we absolutely deserved it. We were tremendous. Welcome to the First Division, Leicester.
And if you’re going to go bankrupt, you should have built a better ground first.
I love Robbie Blake! He’s magnificent. I take it all back. But I shouldn’t single out one player – all the team were magnificent today. Well done, Stan.
The only other thing to observe about today was the double standards of the police inside the ground. Burnley supporters were hauled out for absolutely anything. Meanwhile, a Leicester supporter (near the away supporters) was drinking a bottle of lager. The police told him off. He hurled abuse at the police. So, naturally, they let him stay.
