Cozzo:
We were awful from beginning to end, and never got going at all. There was no enthusiasm, and no effort really. Marlon couldn't be blamed for any of the goals. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be: pathetic.
John:
Goldilocks has got his three bears! Nitty - as in "nitty gritty" - is the latest one, joining Grinand and Bear It in the menagerie. And the game? We were crap!
Editor's note: for anyone who doesn't know about John's illness - oops, sorry, I mean hobby - he buys a bear after every home League defeat. Even more worrying is that he's started referring to himself as "Goldilocks"...
Dermot:
Generally I thought we didn't play that badly, believe it or not. But the marking at the back was abysmal, and that's why we lost. Rotherham couldn't really do anything but score, it was so bad. Marlon wasn't at fault for any of their goals. And Davis seemed to pick up an injury, which is really disappointing. I can't understand it, because it's virtually the same side that beat Forest last week. Today, something just wasn't quite right.
Woody:
I thought that we were terrible. I thought that our midfield was totally and utterly anonymous. It gave no support to our defence, and no support to our attack. Having said that, Rotherham are a big, strong side. They're also the dirtiest I've seen this season, and they took full advantage of the worst referee we've seen for years - he allowed Alan Lee in particular to get away with murder. It's easy to see now why Lee's been booked so many times. Ronnie Moore has taught him everything he knows. But we stank, and Rotherham deserved to win. Basically, they wanted it - and we didn't.
Paul:
We were overrun all over the field - they wanted to win more than we did. Without exception, we were very poor.
Ben (aged 7):
I enjoyed the match, a little bit. My best players were Davis and Blake. The referee was rubbish. Rotherham played well and deserved to win.
Jeff:
It was an awful game. Rotherham were reasonable, but Burnley were absolutely appalling. We had some sort of defence, and some sort of strikeforce, but no midfield. Little played wide right, but in my opinion his skill would be better utilised in the centre of midfield. I didn't think much of Blake - though I realise that might be a bit harsh, as I've only seen him a couple of times this season.
Michael:
We were unspeakably inept. We didn't want it, and they did. We played like a load of pansies.
Paddy:
I'm glad I didn't go today. I observed the three goal rule by leaving the living room and taking an early bath!
Pic(s) of the day
When you go to sleep tonight, we know what you'll be dreaming about. (Or should that be who you'll be dreaming about?)
Who did Rotherham get them from, then?
