Well, this is how it finished. After the 2002-2003 season's 46 League games, Burnley had won 15 matches, drawn 10, and lost 21. That gave us 55 points, and we ended the season in 16th place - comfortably above the relegation zone, but a long way from the play-offs. Our goal difference was a very disappointing -24.
Our final League position might have been lower than we'd hoped for, but there was consolation in the Cup competitions. We got to the fourth round of the League Cup, beating Spurs in the third round, and only going out to the eventual runners-up (and Premiership champions), Manchester United. In the FA Cup, we did even better, getting to the quarter finals before going out to Watford.
With the demise of ITV Digital, our games didn't suffer so much from odd kick-off times this season, and most fixture changes were to accommodate Cup games, etc.

As usual, we acknowledge the Football League's quite ridiculous copyright over the combinations of clubs and dates.
